Today started out like any other ordinary day. We woke up early though not to the sound of our alarms but to the sound of the workmen digging up our street for what seems like the third time this past year. We got ready to head out the door because I had a job interview to get to in Brussels and my man so kindly suggested to drive me since he's working the afternoon shift this week. I remember thinking 'I have to tell Gary we've been married for 7 months as of today' but every time I was about to tell him something came up. Either we had to decide where to get breakfast from because there was no time for anything else or we forgot where we parked our car, in the car we went over a few mock questions I anticipated being asked during my interview, then we got stuck in a ton of traffic due to strikes in Brussels and in the end we arrived late, this after leaving over an hour early. When I came out of my interview I was on such an adrenaline rush that I forgot to remind Gary yet again.
Then I remembered. Excitedly I told Gary that we are now closer to being married for a year than we are to our wedding day. Time sure flies.
I get to spend all my days with this wonderful man by my side. That wonderful man who sacrificed his free time to drive me to Brussels and then had to go straight to work after he dropped me off. He makes these ordinary days a little less ordinary and I love him for that.
All these pictures were taken by friends and family at our wedding.

Echt zot hoe jij maar nieuwe foto's van de trouw kan blijven posten! Zalig als je ergens naartoe wordt gevoerd door je vent he. ^^
