Here I am with another round of my current favorites.
I'm not a huge fan of spelled out words as decorations but I do love me some initials. We got the white ones on our honeymoon. They remain white for now but I might spray paint them in the future. The metallic ones are from a little shop close to our studio. Further proof that I love our initials? The ring Gary give me for Christmas.
Gary and I are serial plant killers. No matter how hard we try those once luscious green plants always morph into brown dead creatures. Over the past two weeks we've tossed two plants in the trash one of which was a cactus. A cactus, people! How on earth do you kill a cactus? I'm not sure but we managed to do so anyway. Enter: succulents. These things last forever.
On a related note: on our wedding day we received an orchid from my hair dresser. He's cut my hair probably since I was about 10 years old. A few months ago the flowers started falling off one by one. Of course I thought 'Great, here we go again'. I asked my mom for tips on how to revive our orchid. She told me to cut off the dead stems right above the first or second knot and then soak the plant in lukewarm water for 15 minutes. I did all of this weeks ago and nothing seemed to change, but last night as I was doing the dishes I noticed all these new flower buds. I'm so excited! For once I actually managed to keep a plant alive. Go me!
I adore my new to me white coat. I got it from a friend along with the bag and boots you see in the above picture. She seriously made that day!
A few months ago I had a closet sale. I bought this navy blue Zara coat with the money I made from that sale. I love the gold colored accent buttons. You can get this coat on sale here.
Doesn't this mustache cake make you smile? I made it last week for Gary's birthday. More on that in another post.
And last but not least I am currently loving tulips. I have no clue if they're back in season but I see them popping up everywhere. I originally wanted tulips for my wedding bouquets but our florist told us they were out of season in July so peonies it was.
What are you loving right now?

I love the white coat. Very daring of you, white, but beautiful.
Hi Jo!!!
Thank you for leaving a comment!!You made my day!!!
I love plants...try to cultivate a "spathiphyllum" it's very very easy to cultivate!
And your plant never dies!!!
I bought mine at Ikea, 4 years ago....
You love tulips? Aww, I love you too!
Zotjes! Misschien moeten jullie maar gewoon verhuizen. :) Alles voor de planten he!
I love that ring so much!
love this, love this, love this.
